Progress, At Last! A Chair & Table Move Along

Finally, I have made some progress...

Do you remember my chair project from last summer? I don't expect you to remember, it was SUMMER for goodness sake.  I am ashamed that it has taken me this long. I promise you that it has been on my mind since the day I bought it. I have changed my mind on what to do with the chair over a dozen times, realizing that I am utterly incapable of making  a decision I can live with.

After much thought, and changes in fabric ( more on this to come later) I have decided to go with a slipcover.

Here is a taste of what it looks like right now..

Stay tuned, I only have one more piece left, so hopefully I will have it finished this week.

Two weeks ago I shared with you my Pottery Barn  Look alike activity table I decided to make. I have almost finished this. I just have a few small details to work on this week, including one more coat of stain, (starting today) and then she will be all done and ready for the move from garage to my son's room.

Stay tuned as these continue to progress this week.  I also have a very exciting little project I am working on to conceal the ugly in my house.. more on that later.

Have a wonderful day!

Can't wait to see the final pictures!
I haven't had any issues with the mod podge turning the photos green. Maybe it's the paper? Or the type of mod podge? I used the matte.

I have a chair I want to slipcover but I'm too chicken to try my hand at sewing one. I STINK at sewing. Or, should I say my sewing machine stinks at it :). Looking forward to seeing your projects complete!

Happy SITS Sharefest Day!! I am very envious of your abilities! I could never make over a table, or sew a slipcover. Kudos to you!! :-)
