I saw this pillow there the other day and instantly fell in love.
I have some linen fabric that has been siting around for a while that is the perfect color for this pillow.
First I recreated the 'Nest' design using a font that looked similar to the on at PB. I purchased an iron-on transfer from the store, and printed my text onto the transfer, and simple followed the instructions to iron it on.
Here it is now!
You can kind of see the transfer on the pillow if your looking closing. Next time I do this I will know to trim closer to the text so this doesn't happen.

Great job! I love that PB pillow too, it's staring at me as I write this (it's on the same table as the laptop!). Your's is fantastic!
OH I just had to recycle this catalog today because these pillows were calling my name. I love these pillows but I love even more that you created them without paying the $ PB wanted for them. YOu did a great job!
Great job! I think that I like yours better than the PB one.
I ham so glad I found your blog....I love that pillow too and don't want to spend 50 big ones on it! I got the PB bird print pillow as a gift. This is so great, I want to give it a try too. I posted about my PBK playroom we copied for very little money.
I love pillows and anything that has to do with a nest.... so you can imagine me swooning and drooling right now!I love the "knock off" version so much. Just beautiful :)

Hi Shannon
Isn't Pottery Barn full of wonderful things for us all to copy?!!!!
You did a great job on your pillow.

Love this look! Man, I have to get on this bandwagon and try the iron on transfers! Yours looks like it came out of a high end store. :)
Thanks for linking up to SNS!

I love this and it would be my only chance of having a cushion like this as we don't have Pottery Barn in the UK. Yours looks gorgeous!
I fell in love with this pillow from the moment I saw it in the PB catalog and have been trying to figure out how to recreate it. I've not worked with transfers, but I'll be 'a headin' to the craft store today!
Now I just need to figure out the whole 'font' thing...!
Thanks for sharing...

Wondering if you sell these pillows? Since the Pottery Barn price was super high and now no longer available. Let me know. Might be interested.
Thanks ...

Would you please post the fonts you used? Thanks!
Toon cute.
Pottery Barn is so expensive--great job doing it yourself!
I love the PB pillow, but not enough to spend $49! I'm totally going to copy you if that's ok?
Nice pillows :), your awsome content have forced me to to leave some positive feedback organic eco-wool pillows
I love your PB knock off pillow. I'm visiting from DIY project parade and love the craigslist table you redid. As I was looking around your blog I spotted you pillow. It caught my eye because I made one very much like it a few months ago using my printer to make it. You might enjoy looking at it on my blog. Have a great day!
