I have spare fabric laying around, and decided to try making one of those cute little flowers you see everywhere these days. I love these little things, and I have wanted to make them for a while, but haven't had the time to figure out how to make them.
I looked around online, and there are several different tutorials on how to make them. The tutorial that I used was to cut around in a circle, around and around, until you end up with a long strand of fabric that is kind of curly. You can do this with paper too, which is how I started, and they are super cute! Sorry I don't remember where I found this tutorial, or I would like it up, but I am sure you can find a tutorial very easy.
Here are the ones that I made today.
I made them into little flower magnets.
So cute! I love how they turned out. They make great little magnets.
This would be so cute in different fabrics, and sizes. I used some linen to create a few as well, but I didn't like them as much.
Great for the Spring, and all the spring art my daughter is creating.
