This Weeks Treasures

Let me start with this; I LOVE CRAIGSLIST! I am so amazed at the stuff I find on there everyday. I have been searching the free ads on there for a while, and if your quick, and you can pick stuff up you can score big.

This wee I got a walnut coffee table, and a matching side table  for FREE

If I had a truck, I would have got an old library ladder. I desperately wanted to find a way to go pick it up, and just mount it to the top of my car.. I am pretty sure that I wouldn't have made it home that way though.

Here is what they look like today.

There is a bucket under the table... my garage needs to be organized a tad.. can you tell?

Aside from playing the Easter bunny and hiding eggs, I will be working on these guys all weekend.
How about you?

Score! I can't wait to see what you do with the tables. This weekend I won't have any time for projects. Tomorrow we'll be running around all day. Neighborhood Easter egg hunt at 10, cousin's birthday party at 12:00, church at 4:15 until 8:30 or so. Then I have to come home and get the house perfect for Easter. :) I'm hosting Easter dinner.

Hi Shannon,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am having fun browsing through yours and getting some great ideas. I'm so glad I found you. I love to paint stuff and I'm on a bit of a painting spree this weekend painting some furniture too! I can't wait to share my spring projects with you next week, and I can't wait to see how your table turns out!
P.S. I wish you had picked up the old library ladder~it sounds amazing!

I am sure that you will make something fabulous and can't wait to see it. Both pieces look like very nice furniture from what I can see in the pictures.

I love Cl! What an amazing find! I can't wait to see the finished products.

I wish I had the space to refinish and store projects like this. A school near us put out two benches with great iron work arms. I imagined all the fabulous things I could've done with them, but I can't bring that stuff or work on it in our small apartment. :(

I LOVE Craigslist. I have found a few free treasures before and you can never go wrong with free.
